Behind the Vines

The “Colors” of Wine

by Farley on March 30th, 2008

My other wine blog, Wine Outlook, mainly serves to give people information about Rosenblum Cellars, where I work. Upcoming events, interesting characters, wine club updates, and the weekly tasting menu that I write every Friday. That is actually one of my favorite aspects of the job–something that wasn’t even in the description. When people remark on the notes’ creativity and ask who writes them, I always get a big ole smile on my face.  After all, I have that degree in poetry, so at least it’s going to use…

This last menu, however, has to be one of my favorites.  Think cheshire grin.  Every once in a while, I choose a theme for the menu: songs, television shows, ice cream flavors (that one threw people off a bit), and a holiday version with appearances by the staff. This idea came to me a couple weeks ago and was so much fun to create.  Get to it, you say, tell us, the theme!

Well, here’s a hint….

And here’s where you can read it. Cheers and have fun!
