Keeping Warm With Stew and Wine, Of Course
Hewitson was one of my favorite makers of Shiraz back home when I was drinking more of it. And this column that was published in the Jackson Free Press a couple of weeks ago has to be one of my favorites I’ve written (next to the one about pasta puttanesca). So have a read and enjoy. It’s been perfect weather for stew, even here in Northern California. And the conditions are always right for a good glass of Shiraz or Syrah.
