Get Your Valentine’s On
….Just not in a restaurant. As a former waitress (for something like 9 years), I will never ever go out to eat on Valentine’s Day. Amateur night, we all called it, as it’s one of those evenings (New Year’s Eve is another) where people who don’t ever eat out come out of hiding and often ‘forget’ to tip. So, I will not be fighting the crowds tonight.
Instead, I just put a bottle of Domaine Carneros Le Rêve Blanc de Blancs into the fridge and will stop by the store after work tonight for something to dress up the halibut I took out of the freezer.
