Diageo and the Rainbow Network

Sunday found us at the corner of Howard and Beale in San Francisco. Our relatively new owners, Diageo–the world’s largest premium beverage company–celebrates all its employees. That’s what the Rainbow Network is about and why we marched in the parade.

Granted, we were told to get there about three hours before we started marching…. And unlike Jackson, Mississippi’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, there was no drinking before or during this one. But it was still fun to walk alongside the float and cars and hoot n’ holler.

Since Rosenblum is so new to the Diageo family, our brand wasn’t represented on any of the t-shirts, hats, or large cut-out bottles. Therefore, we made our own signs, like the one Paul has there or the one Aura carried: “You’ll meet many hot chicks when getting your Rosenblum fix.” Some folks in the crowd asked us what Rosenblum was (what?!), though we had many more give us cheers and nods of approval.
