Back on the Wine Track
Readers and drinkers, things are finally getting organized. I feel like I’ve been absent from blogging for so many reasons. New job, new relationship, so much time spent driving to and from work, new responsibilities. Well, now that I’m settled in Alameda, I feel renewed and ready to get back to writing on a regular basis. I also realized a few things in my move.
1) I have no idea how I had all of my stuff crammed into a studio because there is plenty to go round in my new apartment, which is probably 4 or 5 times bigger than my old one.
2) As much as I hate to move, I love setting up new places. Finding happy space, making things look right, hanging my art.
3) I have more wine than I thought! I let BK pack it up because I would have been too distracted and taken too long. I saved myself for spending the extra time unpacking and remembering where/why bottles came from. It’s even in some semblence of order now (by variety instead of by winery), and I got everything listed, I think.
If only I can keep that up…

So just saw you in the feed. Had no idea this blog had launched. Welcome and I’ll be by I’m sure. I don’t drink but I do like wineries. I’ll try to find something smashingly cool for your official welcome at Offbeat — I’m up for a good challenge.
Have fun :)

Congrats on your new move! Wow, you do have a lot of wine. I’m looking forward to reading your blog and expanding my wine drinking and knowledge. I’m stuck on Zinfandel right now and need something new to try.
So glad to have you join us! Can’t wait to see you over at the forums. We have a lot of fun over there.

Jennifer,
Thanks and wineries ARE wonderful, especially the one where I work.
Julie,
Zinfandel is a good one to be stuck on, but there are so many others to try. I’ll do my best to help.
